A new metal ring is securely attached to the inside of the wood allowing you to use the regular mason lid underneath, keeps things dry and fresh or you can also use it for liquids without any transfer of flavors or odors.

I have not included jars with the lids to keep the shipping costs as low as possible, the jars are readily available in most towns.
